I am an artist and photographer, currently indulging my passion for digital art. I started out with a talent for drawing, an eye for line, form, shadow and light. Later, I became fascinated with montage, assemblage and collage. My work tends toward the surreal and the fantastic. I am interested in the beauty of impermanence and decay, in found art, and in capturing the yearnings of the human spirit. My images often reflect my appreciation of absurdity, humor, mystery, connection, and synchronicity.
My art making process is self-reflective and personally transforming. For me, the creative journey is as important as the end product. I love to surprise and delight myself with unexpected and sometimes unintended juxtapositions, connections, and ideas. As Jerry Uelsmann says, "If I have an ultimate goal, it's to amaze myself."
